10-12 servings
ingredients:
1 4-lb boneless beef sirloin or rolled rump roast
1 C water
1 0.7-oz pkg Italian salad dressing mix
2 tsp dried Italian seasoning, crushed
½ - 1 tsp crushed red pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
10-12 kaiser rolls or French style rolls, split
Roasted red sweet peppers, cut into strips
directions:
Cover; cook on low-heat setting for 10-12 hours or on high-heat setting for 5-6 hrs.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer meat to a cutting board. Shred using two forks. Drizzle some of the cooking juices over meat to serve and top with red pepper strips if desired. Also good with slices of provolone cheese.
